Shop Policies

Clear, simple policies so you know exactly what to expect when you order from Feito a Mano.

Processing & Turnaround Time

  • Ready-to-ship items usually ship within 3–5 business days.
  • Custom orders typically take 2–4 weeks depending on complexity and studio schedule.
  • If there are any unexpected delays, you’ll receive a message with an updated timeline.

Shipping

  • All ceramics are wrapped in bubble wrap, eco-friendly packing paper, and sturdy boxes.
  • Primary carrier is USPS Priority Mail (UPS may be used for larger or heavier orders).
  • You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
  • Once a package is with the postal service, delivery times and delays are outside the studio’s control.
  • Lost or stolen packages are not the studio’s responsibility, but help will always be offered with claims when possible.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase.
  • After 24 hours, or once work has started on a custom piece, cancellations are not guaranteed.

Custom Orders

  • Custom listings require full payment up front to secure your spot in the schedule.
  • Progress photos can be shared if requested when the order is placed.
  • No major design changes can be made once work has started; small tweaks may be possible depending on the stage.
  • Because customs are made specifically for you, they are not eligible for returns or refunds.

Returns & Exchanges

  • Due to the fragile and handmade nature of ceramics, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
  • If your piece arrives damaged, contact the studio within 48 hours with photos of the item and the packaging.
  • Clear photos and the original packaging are required to process a replacement or, when necessary, a refund.
  • Replacements are preferred when possible so the work can still make it to you.

Care Instructions

  • Hand-washing is recommended for all pieces to extend their life.
  • Microwave use is not recommended unless specifically stated in the listing.
  • Ceramics are sturdy but still breakable — handle with love.
